For the Construction Project Representative, you'll have a high school/GED education or, preferably, an associate's or bachelor's degree; preferably a NICET certification; and a minimum of 2 years of practical experience. You?ll have particular experience in construction observation and administration of wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment facilities. You'll also have general computer skills (Microsoft Office). In this position, you'll serve as a liaison between the engineer and contractor while in the field. You'll observe construction activities to verify compliance with contract specifications; maintain daily reports and records; determine quantities for contractor progress payments; assist with change order processing; perform acceptance inspections and observe testing; develop punch lists; assist in dispute resolution initial decisions; document information to prepare record drawings; and assist with contract close-out documentation.
