For the Civil/Structural Engineer, you'll have a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration; an E.I.T. certification; and entry level to 5 years of practical experience, preferably including experience in water and wastewater structures. You'll be knowledgeable of the principles and fundamentals of structural design and be experienced in the application of design principles for reinforced concrete, structural steel, and masonry. You'll also have a strong background in the application of the International Building Code. You'll have experience with structural design software and, preferably, AutoCAD. In this position, you'll perform structural engineering calculations; develop structural designs; prepare engineering reports, schedules, and cost estimates; develop plans and specifications; provide office and field support for construction phase activities; and interface with project managers, sub consultants, clients, contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
