For the Environmental Engineer, you?ll have a B.S., or preferably M.S., in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering, an E.I.T. certification, and a minimum of 2 years of practical experience. You?ll be knowledgeable of the principles and fundamentals of hydraulics, physical/chemical/biological treatment processes, and water chemistry; have particular experience in the planning and design of water and wastewater treatment facilities; and, preferably, have operations experience. In this position, you?ll perform engineering calculations, evaluate process alternatives, and establish bases of design; prepare engineering reports and cost estimates; conduct pilot testing; and assess facilities and operations for performance optimization. You?ll interface with CET project managers, sub consultants, clients, contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
